What Spirit Boxly is
Spirit Boxly is a field toolkit for entertainment and experimental investigations. It can read your phone’s magnetometer and motion sensors, record microphone audio, generate Spirit Box output, and assemble a report from a session.
Sensor readings are real measurements from the device. Spirit Box words and paranormal interpretations are not scientific evidence of ghosts, spirits, or any other phenomenon. Do not rely on the app for safety, security, medical, legal, or professional decisions.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or use the app or this site to build a competing product except as allowed by law.
Purchases
Spirit Boxly Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock sold as in-app product
ghosthunt_lifetime. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account
at confirmation. Restore purchases on a new device with the same store account.
Pro removes ads and unlocks unlimited saved investigations. Standalone Spirit Box and EVP sessions may still have duration limits described in the app. Prices are shown in the store before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
Ads and free limits
The free plan may show AdMob banners and interstitials and is limited to three saved investigations and three-minute Spirit Box and standalone EVP sessions. EMF and Radar remain available. Authorized ad sellers are listed in app-ads.txt.
Your content
You own the notes, recordings, and reports you create. They stay on your device unless you share them yourself through the operating system share sheet. You are responsible for what you enter and share.
Do not share personal data about others without permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to harass, trespass, or violate any law or property rights.
- Interfere with the service, scrape it abusively, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Upload malware or content you do not have the right to share.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app, website, sensors, generated audio, and reports are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that readings are complete, calibrated to laboratory instruments, or suitable for any particular investigation. Phone hardware, cases, magnets, speakers, and environment all affect measurements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Spirit Boxly. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Spirit Boxly Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and this site.
