Overview

Spirit Boxly is a ghost-hunting toolkit for entertainment and experimental use. You do not create an account. Investigation data stays on your device unless you share it yourself through the operating system share sheet.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sensors we use

The app accesses device sensors only while a tool or investigation session is open:

  • Magnetometer and motion for the EMF meter, field radar, and investigation timeline.
  • Microphone for EVP sessions and full investigation audio. Recordings remain on your device unless you share them yourself through the operating system share sheet.

Sensor readings are measurements from your phone. They are not used to infer your identity, and they are not uploaded to our servers.

Information stored on your device

The app stores locally:

  • Settings, onboarding choices, and whether you accepted the in-app disclaimer.
  • An anonymous device identifier used to restore local settings and purchases.
  • Saved investigations, markers, notes, and EVP recordings.
  • Whether Spirit Boxly Pro is unlocked on this device.

You can remove this information by deleting the app or clearing the app’s data through your device settings.

Advertising

The free version may show Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Ads are requested as non-personalized. Google and its partners may still collect device and advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, and interaction data to serve and measure ads, detect fraud, and comply with law.

AdMob publisher ID: pub-8013558762515380. Authorized sellers for this developer website are listed in app-ads.txt, published at the root of this domain for AdMob verification.

Spirit Boxly Pro removes ads. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings (for example, Apple’s Tracking or Google’s Ads settings). See Google’s Privacy Policy and how AdMob uses data.

Purchases

Lifetime unlocks are processed by Apple or Google and, when configured, RevenueCat. Those companies receive purchase receipts, product identifiers, and the anonymous app user information needed to validate and restore entitlements. We do not receive your full payment card number.

See Apple Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

This website

This developer site is hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers receive standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL. We do not run a separate analytics SDK on this site.

Children

Spirit Boxly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Retention and your rights

On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain information, or to object to processing. Investigation files stay on your device; delete a case in the app or uninstall Spirit Boxly to remove them.

If information is processed internationally (for example, through Vercel, Google, Apple, or RevenueCat), we rely on those providers’ appropriate safeguards.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
